Winters Elementary

Welcome to 4th Grade Math

Hello and welcome back to school!  I am the 4th grade mathematics teacher and I am super excited for the upcoming school year and can not wait to share with you all of the wonderful things going on at Winters Elementary.  I look forward to working with students and parents/guardians to ensure success across the board for all of my students. I am thrilled to be on your team in achieving success now for your child.
I am proud to say that my husband, Dereck, and I attended Winters schools from kindergarten through the 12th grade.  I am also, a graduate of Angelo State University ((GO RAMS))!   Dereck, and I have two sons, Brady and Dayvin, that keep us busy and on the go. Brady is starting his sophomore year at Angelo State University and Dayvin is an 8th grader at the Winters Jr. High Campus (Go Breezes!).  We are all BLIZZARDS and big Blizzard fans, so it is not uncommon to see us out and about supporting all kinds of extracurricular Blizzard activities.  GO BLUE!
My conference time is 12:30-1:00.  Should you want to conference please send me an email or call the school at 325-754-5577 to set up an appointment.  It is going to be a great year!

My mission as a 4th grade teacher at Winters Elementary is to listen and teach with my whole heart.  I want my students to develop positive, effective skillsets. I want them to identify their gifts and discover how they can share those gifts with others.  By years’ end, my students will be able to self-evaluate, set realistic math goals and attain them. I want my students to use operations, fractions, and decimals to solve multi-step problems.
